FISHING IN MEXICO

Mike just got home from a fishing trip to Loreto, Mexico. Mark wanted to do another fishing tournament (Fishin' for the Mission) so he called Mike and said let's go.... You don't have to beg Mike to leave the farm for some good fish; although it was very hot, about 103 degrees with all the humidity, it felt like 125 degrees. The fishing was very good, lots of Durado and Sail Fish and some Marlin. We're just so happy that Mark has the home, boat and friends to make for a wonderful vacation!

Wow! I am not even going to show Steve these pictures for fear he will turn GREEN with envy! What FUN! Even in the heat. Isn't it just so great to get away with good friends and just relax for awhile. I need to do that again soon. I'm slowly killing myself with too many long hours.

Love the pictures but, I hope that yellow fish Mike reeled in tastes a lot better than it looks, that thing is UGLY!

I know...you are totally amazed that I can now blog. I think it is awesome.
Just a little note about Mike and I. We met when we were in Kindergarten and it has been history since then. We graduated from High School in 1974 and we were married in 1976. We have 6 really great kids...not perfect, but great. Jake is 32 yrs. old, Jared is 30, Chase is 28, Meghann is 27, Todd is 23 and Tara is 22 yrs. old. We have been very busy. Not only have we raised kids, but we have raised lots of alfalfa hay. We are farmers at heart. We own about 600-700 acres of ground that we produce either hay, grain or corn. It has been a good lifestyle to raise a large family like ours.
As of now, we have added three beautiful new daughters, and two great sons. Only Jake is not married. We have been blessed with 6 darling granddaughters. We really believe that grandchildren are worth enduring your own kids.
