This blog is going to be full of fun pictures. We had such a great Fourth this year. All the kids love to come home for Delta's Fourth of July Activities. The parade isn't much different each year, but there is something about catching candy that the little girls just love. It is so good to see old friends and even classmates come home for the big day starting with my age on down to my kids' age. Delta really draws a big crowd. The little girls are getting so fun now, they want to do everything. Mike got the girls a water slide and was so excited to get the girls in it. We were not disappointed...they loved it!
My cousin, Joey, did the same for her grandkids...she just had her boys pick out hers and of course, they have a bigger vision! I loved it. (You know what they say about great minds...) We capped the day off with, of course, the fireworks...we couldn't do our own so we went into Delta and watched the big ones. We have been overtaken in Utah with fires so each town did the best they could to display the fireworks safely. You know it is a great country we live in...everyone has their own interpretation of great...but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Happy Birthday, America!

HAPPY EASTER 2012
I can't believe how fast the year flies by...wasn't Christmas just yesterday??? We had a nice Easter this year, all the kids came home except Todd. He thought that he needed to go to a friends bachelor party instead Eastering at home. On Saturday we took the kids out to the Sand Hills so the girls could roll their Easter Eggs down the sand hills. They loved every minute of it! The Boys spent the better part of the day golfing, but managed to meet us at the sand hills for dinner and fun. We did the Christensen tradition of Fried Chicken, Potato Salad, and Deviled Eggs (we forgot the OLIVES, that is the Clark tradition). It was fun watching the girls get sand all over themselves and not even care. They are just all so dang fun.
On Sunday morning, half of the bunch went to Church and the other half stayed home. Mike, Susan, Meghann and I took Sienna, Haley, Kelly and Riley out to swing and jump on the trampoline since it was a gorgeous day. Susan left her girls in our watch while she took Kelly in the house and little Haley fell off the ladder to the slide (on our watch). She was not a happy little girl. She didn't settle down and acted like her arm was really hurting, so Susan decided to take her into the ER and have her checked. OMG, she broke her arm. Mike and I felt soooooo bad!!! She was a little trooper though, and all the other girls felt sad for her when she got home. If not for that, we had a wonderful Easter Day. Love It!!!! LOVE MY FAMILY

Hola Again from Mexico 2012
Mike and I have just returned from our fun time in Loreto. It just gets better every year we go! (oops, Mike goes maybe 3 times a year, if there is a fishing tournament to be in). This year we had quite a bit of wind and when you have wind, you don't fish. We did get two days in, though. When we go fishing, we start out at 4:30 am and so we get to see the most beautiful sunrises I have ever seen (Maybe it is the only sunrise I ever see....jk/lol). The Whales were in this trip and so we got to go Whale Watching. We had a few road trips and we got a whole new respect for the Mexican way of life. I wish I had taken pictures of some of the homes that these people live in, it makes me feel like I have way too much. The people of Loreto really don't require a lot of privileges. Most don't have electricity, running water like we are used too, or any of the luxuries we are accustom too, but they are truly the most gracious people I know.
